The hub of the MEND ecosystem. Every device reading is imported, checked, encrypted, and delivered to your provider — automatically, and with confirmation at both ends.
Free · iOS & Android · HIPAA-compliant transmission · Works with every MEND device
A reading that never reaches your care team might as well not exist. The MEND App exists so that every reading arrives — translated into your provider's format, encrypted the whole way, and confirmed when it lands.
Households aren't one person. Pick a profile before each session and every reading files itself under the right patient — and reaches the right provider.
The app talks with your MEND devices, not just at them — pulling readings in, pushing firmware and settings out, over an encrypted Bluetooth link.
Every clinic wants data its own way. The app transforms each reading into the exact format your provider's system expects before it ever leaves your phone.
If a transmission fails — dead spot, dropped Wi-Fi, server hiccup — the app tells you plainly and retries automatically until delivery is confirmed.
Under the calm surface is a rigorous, HIPAA-compliant pipeline. Every reading from every MEND device travels the same seven steps — and you can watch each one check off in the app.
MEND Pulse, MEND Oxi, or any MEND device measures as usual. The app keeps a live two-way link with the device, so the handoff starts the moment the reading exists.
Before anything moves, the reading is attached to the right profile — the patient you chose in the app. In multi-patient homes, nothing ever files under the wrong name.
Raw device output is imported and translated into structured JSON — a clean, universal representation of the measurement, its timestamp, the device it came from, and the patient it belongs to.
The reading is sanitized — validated, range-checked, stripped of anything malformed — then transformed into the exact record format your provider's system requires. Their format, not ours.
The formatted record is encrypted on-device before transmission begins. From here on, the data is unreadable to everything except its destination.
The encrypted record travels over TLS and is delivered straight into your provider's system — via secure SFTP drop or an OAuth 2.0 authenticated API, whichever your clinic uses. Both paths are HIPAA-compliant.
Your provider receives a confirmation email that new data has landed, and the app shows you a delivery receipt. No wondering, no assuming — a closed loop, every single reading.
A failed import or interrupted transmission is reported to you in plain language, and the app automatically retries until the reading is delivered and confirmed. Nothing is silently dropped, ever.
Success flows back the way it came: delivered to your provider, confirmed by email, receipted in your app. That's the whole protocol. You just took a reading.
The transmission protocol was designed HIPAA-first — not retrofitted. Your readings are protected at every stage: on the device, on your phone, in transit, and at rest.
Every path a reading can take — SFTP drop or OAuth 2.0 API — meets HIPAA transmission requirements. There is no non-compliant route through the system.
AES-256 on your phone before transit, TLS on the wire, encryption at rest in the MEND Cloud. Data is sealed before it ever leaves your hand.
Provider endpoints are verified and authenticated — keyed SFTP or OAuth 2.0 tokens — so records can only land where they're supposed to.
Every delivery generates a confirmation to the provider and a receipt in your app. An auditable trail of what was sent, when, and where it arrived.
